2011 Vancouver Fringe Festival


ButterDragon is back at this years Vancouver international Fringe Festival
We have a new; "a hilarious but dark," "seriously funny but makes you think" and original show -

Figment - written by Jim Cunningham - is acomedy about the realization of life as nothingness. While a brash civil servant dissects existence in the confessional booth of a nondenominational church at Pearson International Airport, the priest drinks. An original play that dares ask, “How do I know you exist?” You decide.

Our show will be at the same spot as last year with almost the same dates and times too:

2011 Vancouver Fringe Festival Audition

Show Title: Figment

We will be holding a general call, July 7th, starting around 7pm at Havana Restaurant on Commercial Drive

The Story:

Genre:
A Dark Comedy with mature, violent, and sexual content written to make you laugh, and then think (as opposed to the other way around)

The Players

Darryl Goodpeel, male 34, is a bold and mysterious man. He is slightly suspicious, with a tendency to sweat due to nervousness.

Priest, male 29, is handsome but scruffy, and wears the cloth of a non-denominational church in the basement of an airport, but doesn’t seem the religious type.
